2024 Toyota Tundra vs 2024 Toyota Tundra i-FORCE MAX

Serving Battle Creek, MI

The ever-popular Toyota Tundra pickup truck continues to wow its drivers with its perfect balance of exciting capabilities, great features, and head-turning aesthetics. In addition to the gas-powered trim levels, the Tundra i-FORCE MAX is now available with a hybrid powertrain. How do these options rate against each other in critical areas?

Performance

The standard, gas-powered engine for the 2024 Tundra is a V6 turbo 3.5-liter engine. It comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and produces 389 horsepower - except in the base model where it produces 358 horsepower. In addition, this engine has rear-wheel or four-wheel drivetrains. The Tundra i-FORCE Max has a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 engine with 437 horsepower. Some trim levels for both versions have hill descent control, adaptive suspension dampers, a load-leveling air suspension system, a lifted suspension, an off-road suspension, crawl control, all-terrain tires, a lowered sports suspension, and more.

Appearance

The 2024 Toyota Tundra and the Tundra i-FORCE MAX are visually appealing and have the same exterior design. This model is defined by edgy, molded fenders with slightly squared-off wheel wells. While the side doors are smooth, a belt-line accent adds visual appeal. At the front, a chrome element wraps around the entire width of the grille and extends through the bumper. A T-shaped LED accent piece supports the small, rectangular headlights.

Features

While all seven of the Tundra's trim levels are available with the gas-powered V6 engine, only the upper three trim levels have the hybrid powertrain available. Depending on the trim that you prefer, your new Tundra truck could be available with a head-up display, leather upholstery, noise-reducing windows, wood trim, power-deploying running boards, a wireless device charger, household power outlets in the bed and cab, a panoramic sunroof, sports pedals, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, an off-roading camera, a surround-view camera, a JBL sound system, a digital rear mirror, and more.

With two powertrains and seven trim levels available, an in-person review of the options is your next step. Visit Sunshine Toyota today to compare the trucks available in our current inventory.
