Serving Battle Creek, MI
The Corolla Cross debuted as a small crossover SUV version of the popular Corolla car last year. While its engineering, style, and features are modern, Toyota has made several exciting improvements to the 2023 Corolla Cross to make it even more appealing. The Toyota RAV4 has long been a strong contender among small crossover shoppers in the Battle Creek area, and it also shows off a few updates for the 2023 model year. Our Sunshine Toyota sales staff members are thrilled to help you explore the differences between these great options.
Performance
The 2023 Corolla Cross is the more affordable of these two models and is available in three trims. All have a 169-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter gas engine, and a continuously variable auto transmission. For all trims, you can decide between front-wheel or all-wheel drive. Likewise, all six of the RAV4 trims have the same powertrain. This is a 203-horsepower, four-cylinder engine with an auto eight-speed transmission. Most trims give you the option of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. However, all-wheel drive is standard for the RAV4 Adventure, and TRD Off-Road trims. Some trims have upgraded suspension, hill descent, various drive modes, and other equipment.
Appearance
The 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross has a flawless design with notable descents through the profile and smoothly rounded fenders. The black molding on the front connects to the diamond mesh grille and carries down the sides to the rear bumper. The headlights are long, with both a noticeable round bulb and an angled LED ribbon. The 2023 RAV4 has thinner body molding and square wheel wells. The sides have deep, converging contours. At the front, the grille is wider, with horizontal accent bars. The headlights have a more classic trapezoidal shape.
Features
Suppose you decide to buy the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross. In that case, your crossover could have a wireless internet connection, forward collision warning, two USB-C ports, an 8-inch touch display screen with wireless device connections, a wireless charging pad, auto climate control, ambient cabin lighting, parking sensors, heated front seats, a sunroof and a power liftgate. ** Never tow beyond a vehicle's published towing capacities. Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. Installation of a tow hitch receiver or other accessories located near the rear bumper may require disabling or removing the kick sensor, and the sensor operation setting in your vehicle should be turned off.
