2023 Toyota Corolla Cross vs 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid

Serving Battle Creek, MI

The Toyota Corolla hatchback and sedan have long been popular options, and the family grew in 2022 with the debut of the Corolla Cross SUV. For 2023, another addition has been made to the Corolla family with the launch of the Corolla Cross Hybrid. While the Corolla Cross and Corolla Cross Hybrid are closely related, they are independent models with their appeal.

Performance

The 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross comes in your choice of three trims, all with the same engine and mechanical features. This compact crossover pairs a continuously variable automatic transmission with a 169-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.0-liter engine. All trims include front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive is an upgrade. The 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid has a hybrid four-cylinder engine that generates 196 combined horsepower. It has standard all-wheel drive.

Appearance

The Corolla Cross is styled with sculpted fenders and extensive molding from bumper to bumper. This molding thickens over the fenders and the lower portion of the doors. The black grille has a brooding, down-turned shape, and the extended headlights are brilliantly flared. The Corolla Cross Hybrid’s style is comparable across its sides and the headlights, but it has a different wheel design and a unique front end. The grille features a body-colored element at the top and sinks confidently through the bumper. While the Corolla Cross has a subtle definition in place of air vents near the bumper, the Corolla Cross Hybrid does not.

Features

Your Toyota crossover will have comparable features regardless of your Corolla Cross or Corolla Cross Hybrid selection. Depending on the trims being compared, these vehicles may be outfitted with wireless internet access, a touch display screen, wireless Android Auto with Apple CarPlay, intersection collision mitigation, lane keeping, adaptive cruise control, a wireless charging pad, USB-C ports, a digital instrumentation panel, parking sensors, heated front seats and others.
