What's New for the 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid?
For auto shoppers who need a three-row SUV and expect superior fuel economy, the Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid is a stellar option. The Grand Highlander Hybrid debuted in 2024, and it benefits from a few notable updates in 2025. These updates begin with the launch of the new LE trim level. The base LE trim is followed by the XLE, Limited, Nightshade, and Platinum trim levels.
The brilliantly styled Grand Highlander Hybrid has a modern design that adds a sophisticated touch from bumper to bumper. This large SUV displays a tall nose with subtly curved sides. The grille sits low to the ground and is styled with innovative, horizontal accent lines. Boomerang-style air inlets hold the fog lights, and the LED headlights are capped by a bold light bar. The exterior design for the Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid holds steady for the 2025 model year, but the color choices have changed. The Coastal Cream paint color is no longer available. Heavy Metal and Cement paint colors are new additions.
The LE, XLE, and Nightshade trim levels come with a four-cylinder hybrid trim level that puts out 245 horsepower. It features a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is available. A Hybrid Max powertrain is optional for the Limited and standard for the Platinum. This engine features a turbo four-cylinder hybrid engine. This is a 362-horsepower system that includes a six-speed automatic transmission and standard all-wheel drive.
Inside the cabin, all trim levels except the LE now have a standard removable center console. The new LE trim level is outfitted with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging station, a 12.3-inch touch display screen, keyless entry, a three-zone climate control system, powered front seats, a keyless ignition, a lane keeping system, a frontal collision warning, adaptive cruise control and a few additional features. Other trim levels add synthetic leather or true leather upholstery, captainās chairs for the second row, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a heated steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, a JBL sound system, a hands-free power liftgate, parking sensors, a panoramic sunroof, and more.
