The ever-popular Toyota Camry sedan enters its ninth generation in 2025 with spectacular improvements from end to end. These updates include fresh styling across the interior and exterior. In addition, the Camry is exclusively offered with hybrid powertrains for the first time. The trim levels for 2025 are the LE, SE, XSE, and XLE. The SE is a sportier and upgraded version of the entry-level LE, making it a preferred option for many shoppers.
The 2025 Toyota Camry SE has the same powertrain as all the other trim levels: a 2.5-liter, inline-four engine. With hybrid components and front-wheel drive, this system consumes fuel while producing 225 horsepower. If you upgrade to an all-wheel drivetrain,the output bumps up to 232 horsepower. The engine is linked to a continuously variable auto transmission. The SE trim is the only trim level to come with a sport-tuned suspension system.
The updated façade of the 2025 Camry has a prowling, sporty look with a tall yet raked roof and flowing, pinstripe-style accents running across the sides. The haunches have a subtle lip, and a rocker panel lines the lower door panels. At the front, the tall hood swoops toward the curved nose, and it is styled with crisp personality lines. An orange, boomerang-style light element is flanked by the LED headlights. The grille sits low to the ground and shows off a radiant mesh design. To its sides, thick, C-shaped air vents complete the look. If you select the Camry SE, your sedan will be outfitted with gear such as sporty accents and 18-inch black alloy wheels.
The 2025 Camry SE is well-appointed with all of the safety, tech and comfort features offered in the base LE trim level. It also adds aluminum sport pedals, a power-adjusting driver's seat, paddle shifters, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and synthetic leather material. The features available in the LE and SE are a blind-spot warning, a push-button starter, a two-zone auto climate control system, forward collision mitigation, a wireless charging pad, lane keeping assistance, an 8-inch touch display screen, adaptive cruise control and wireless smartphone app integration.
