What's New for the 2023 Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid?
The 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid is a new crossover SUV in Toyota's lineup, and it delivers the full appeal of the standard Corolla Cross with the benefit of a fuel-sipping hybrid engine. This is a compact crossover that is placed between the C-HR and RAV4. Under the hood, a four-cylinder engine combines with a battery-powered electric motor to generate 196 total horsepower. With this powertrain, the Corolla Cross Hybrid reaches 60 miles per hour in only eight seconds. Adding to its great performance, it comes with all-wheel drive and substantial ground clearance to accommodate more rugged driving conditions.
On the exterior, the 2023 Corolla Cross Hybrid is comparable to its gas-powered alternative in many ways, but it has distinctive design elements as well. Across the front of the Corolla Cross Hybrid, the A-frame, black grille reaches to the bottom of the bumper, and it is topped by a thin, body-colored element that carries the brand logo. With their length and dual LED bars, the headlights are engaging. Over the fenders and the bottom of the doors, the black molding has an edgy look. In addition, a crisp crease angles upward over the doors.
This new addition to Toyota's hybrid lineup is packed with the latest technologies and features. In the center of the dashboard, a touch display screen offers wireless connections for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice controls, a Google-based navigation system, and a sound system. Other cabin features are controls mounted to a heated steering wheel, a keyless ignition, auto climate control with air filtration, and satellite radio with speed-sensitive volume control. In addition, the latest Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 tech is standard. Lane departure warning with collision avoidance, a rear camera, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assistance, and emergency braking assistance are only a few of the technologies included in this advanced suite.
